Exicting, Educational & Fun

East Coast Golf is a 501c3 organization dedicated to changing the perception of the sport of golf in underserved communities. The principal goal of The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), is “Sports for All, Forever.” East Coast Golf strives to create opportunities (state and regional chapters, conferences, and tournaments) for all athletes to be exposed to expert golf coaching, training centers, scholarships, and educational advancements.

The East Coast Golf Club, an AAU member, is an electrifying amazing program designed for underserved boys and girls from the ages of 8 to 18. The program teaches boys and girls what the game of golf is, how to play the game and how to apply the lessons learn to everyday life.   Golf is a game of integrity.  Playing this sport is fun and requires you to be honest and true to your scores. In addition, the game demands concentration and practice which enhances a better student of golf  and  academia. We look at each student golfer’s skill level to develop them into better golfers through instructional teaching and guidance.

At the East Coast Golf Club we are showing the kids how golf can also be an opportunity for a college education.  With tutoring made available, and accountability of grades we hope to see a great accomplishments of graduating seniors with 3.5 GPA or higher.  This criterion is based on guidelines for admission into the Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) and/or Division One Colleges and Universities.
